to be honest.....even though we blamed Gleevec & CML for most of Terry's

woes.......we only blamed the CML with Terry's " paleness " . He was a healthy

robust kind of guy that did get outside some....so, while not tanned &

leathered like Hamilton...he was never a " pale " kind of guy. At

nearly a

year on Dasatinib, Terry is still quite pale, but then again, he is

healthier, so therefore " looks " better than he had. But again, that is the

disease

that is better controlled which I think gives him improved color to his skin.

I hadn't noticed that his skin has thinned, but he does bruise

easily......in actuality, it is muscle tone that Terry lost the most. That is

why I

wondered what might be wrong with him....I had grabbed at his upper arm to hang

onto while tripping or something, and his arm was very soft & mushy, instead

of being a " big strong, muscle-y man " . If I had made a big deal out of it,

he probably would have gotten diagnosed about 6 months earlier.
