Guest guest
Hi, I am a bit confused as to the dosage of NDT as in the past people have talked about the 'normal' amount of dosage, in grains (as tablets), as being 2 grains of NDT, what I have recently thought, as no-one has enlightened me before about this, is that each grain has a different strength, i.e. some are 30mg some are 60mg and others are 125g, so why is it that I was told to take about 2 or three grains of NDT when no-one told me what strength the grains should be? I was taking two 30mg grains of NDT for ages thinking that I was doing the right thing, then I started getting very tired again, for a few weeks, then I just thought that maybe when I have been told before that '2 or 3 grains is enough' maybe there are all different strengths of grains, why didn't I think of this before? No-one ever mentioned this to me on this site so I looked it up on the pharmaceutical web site and lo and behold there are different strengths, and because I have had 'brain-fog' because of being ill I didn't realise this myself until recently. So I started taking a higher dose and feel a lot better. But I am just wondering if anyone else has been confused by any information on taking 'grains' in that they were not told that there are several different dosages of 'grains'. As I was told 'two or three grains is normal' did they mean two or three of 30mg grains, two or three of 60mg grains or two or three of 125mg grains. Could you be more specific in future when telling people how many grains they should take of NDT and at what strength the grains or tablets should be. Thanks.
