Guest guest
Hi Chris Simple answer is Yes, you must include all records of treatment you've had, even if the outcome has been less than satisfactory for you. The reason I say this is, that when you pass copies of records about your prior treatment to your new Dr, they might notice a gap in the records and this could raise suspicion that you could be witholding some information they feel they should have. I too have copies of letters from the so called " specialist " that cost my health insurance over £2000 for consultations and tests, they contain remarks that I find offensive and of no relevance to my care or reason I went to see him, my GP was horrified when he read them. Good luck Neil

Guest guest
Hi Chris Out of curiosity, are any of the good Drs you mention your GP ? You can be referred to any Endo or other specialist of your choice, just make sure when getting a referral, to make sure your GP writes on the referal which Dr you want to see. Any most of the Private specialists work somewhere within the NHS, if you do some research you should be able to find out which NHS hospital they are attached to. If you need any help, let me know. Guest guest
If only! No, the practice i'm at now has been the worst i've ever been to. they lied to me telling me my T results were normal, it blatantly says that the results are not normal on the lab report. this practice is beyond awful. there's Dr Argumentative, Dr Dolittle, Dr Depression (every condition is depression), Dr Don't-Know-can't-be-botherd, and young Dr Know-it-All. In my life i've been with 4 practices and the other 3 (1 village, 1 uni, 1 inner city) were fine, this one is dreadful. i was told by the nurse attached to the practice that all my sleep problems wre stress, and not physical. he knoew the symptoms he said, he'd been doing the job 20 yrs! furthermore, because i argued with him, therapy wouldn;'t work for me. turns out i was stoppng breathing in my sleep 90 times an hour. thanks chris > > Hi Chris > > Out of curiosity, are any of the good Drs you mention your GP ? >

Guest guest
Hi Chris I removed it as I discovered an error in information. I had advised that perhaps a Private GP could refer you to a specialist in the NHS, however I just read some guidelines on Bupa's website. It states that it is not possible for a Private GP to refer to NHS specialists. I've found a couple of prospective specialists by googling and I've emailed both and had a fairly positive response so far. Guest guest
thanks, but i need someone really good. no one on the nhs has been helpful for my issues, which are there in black and white in my test results. had typed out a much longer reply but as you had deleted your message to which i was replying to, it didn't show. think i'm going to have to stay with my original plan. thanks anyway chris > > Hi Chris > > I've found a couple of prospective specialists by googling and I've emailed both and had a fairly positive response so far. > > Cheers > Neil >
