I am forwarding this from MacDonagh (Chair of the National Pure

Water Association).

Luv - Sheila

Dear all

I have received this information from a local source and am forwarding it to

you. Please note the following (from letter below):

The government want to make the NHS properly accountable to the public. They

are interested in your views about patient and public involvement, making

sure that the public are involved and have a say with what gets

commissioned(what services happen locally and are paid for ) and making the

funding for this transparent to the public. How do you think we can make

sure that you are involved? What needs to be in place to make sure that this

happens for you and that things are transparent to you?

At the end of the NHS-Listening-Exercise (attached) there is a statement

that similar events to the one in Rotherham are being held all over the

country and the closing date for responses is May 31st. Is this an

opportunity for NPWA/HAF in particular, but also other organisations, to get

a message direct to the Prime Minister or is it another cynical exercise to

persuade us that the NHS listens to the public, when it does no such thing.

Those outside my locality will not need to open the Rotherham PCT attachment

which is just a map of the local meeting venue.

Kind regards
