Hi Jaki, Genie sent the same message to me too and I have just

replied asking her to join the forum to see if there is anybody with similar

problems who could give her any ideas of what might be going on. Here is what I

wrote:

" The majority of these blood tests appear to be normal

Genie. It is difficult to tell what might be happening because you have not

mentioned what drugs/supplements you are taking. Have you, for instance, been

given a diagnosis of hypothyroidism at any time and do you suffer with any

autoimmune diseases. Are there any members of your family who have a thyroid

disease or autoimmune disease as this can come down the family line. You need

to ask your GP to test to see whether you have antibodies to your thyroid -

these are TPO and TgAb. You should, at the same time, ask him to test your

levels of ferritin, vitamin B`1, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc

as I do not see any of these have been checked here.

If you believe you may have a thyroid problem I would recommend

you join our Internet Thyroid Support Group where we have over 2220 members

plus 2 medical advisers with masses of information in our Files section. Go to

our web site www.tpa-uk.org.uk and click

on the second item down in the Menu 'Discussion Group' and you can register for

membership from there.

When I approve your registration, introduce yourself to the

other members and see whether any of them can help you or who have had similar

problems to what you have suffered.

Luv - Sheila "

Hi all

My friend is going through a tough time with her health issues. She has asked

me to forward her mail to the group. Hopefully someone can help out.

Hoping I'm not breaking any forum rules.

Jaki
