i went to QE, didn't find them very good. but then i didn't have an obvious

problem they'd find/agree with.

but then if they looked at your test results, they might just say 'they're

normal' and put down your symptoms to depression. sorry that's not the answer

you were hoping for but that's what i found.

depends who you see i guess

I dont want to waste another appointment on the blood test gestapo!(I need a doc

who will look at my symptoms and not just go by blood test results

alone),Although i believe by your previous feed back on results posted that i do

have a thyroid problem, tsh of 2.14(0.35-5.50)then tsh 0.85(0.35-5.50)Free t4

12.2(11.0-23.0) ft3b4.0(3.5-6.5) cortisol 197 (-). Anyone who has got any info

on the choices iv been given would be much appreciated, choices are:New cross

Hospital, Stafford H, manor H, Queen H or Birmingham treatment centre,

any suggestions of any docs at these hospitals worth seeing? Thankyou. luv Sue

Don't know anything about New Cross or Stafford (except the news wasn't very

good about Stafford's in - patient care), avoid the QE like the plague -

arrogance / ignorance and stupidity thrive there, Birmingham treatment centre

likewise, waste of time. One of the doctors at BTC did write a paper about

whether levothyroxine suits everyone but the hospital clamped down on him as his

drugs bill was so high and now there are no new patients being prescribed NDT.

Trouble is they all want to go by bloods results and don't listen or care about

the patient.

just emailed you back ......

it was in my spam! best check your spam just in case your computer doesn't like

me....

can you travel further afield if someone else can recommend someone they found

helpful? choose + book's nationwide isn't it? tho i was told gps don't like

referring outside of their area as it costs more! i know that's impossible to

believe that gp's might put cost first!
