Hi Beki

I just read this, and googled it and it said magnesium is needed too but then

you already posted about that:

html

maybe there other co factors that are needed for vitamin d to be absorbed? what

form of d3 are you taking? is it one in an oil, i think it needs fat to be

absorbed?

http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminD-QuickFacts/

People with disorders such as Crohn's disease or celiac disease who don't handle

fat properly, because vitamin D needs fat to be absorbed.

also too much vitamin a may interfere with vitamin d?

Hi Beki,

I am just wondering what form of vitamin D you are taking and if you have a

problem absorbing it? I was found to have a very severe vitamin D

deficiency and took tablets for a year - but they made virtually no

difference! I now take drops from BioCare and my levels are improving -

over 30 at the last test.

The supplement I use is Bio-D Liquid vitamin D -

Hope that helps.

Hazel.

Sorry Beki, not sure, but see if you can glean anything from the

FILES Section in the FOLDER entitled 'Minerals and Vitamins'. There is lots there

about Vitamin D.

Luv - Sheila

tried 1/4 of 25mcg Cytomel every other day. Think I may have to start with even

less.
