Even when you look at the original scientific papers you often find that the conclusions don't reflect the data. Also many scientific studies are scientifically flawed, and only a trained statistician can spot what is wrong with them. Yes, I get really very cross when people write these papers claiming this that and the other without backing up anything they say with the scientific evidence. This is what the RCP and BTA do.
