Guest guest
Dear AllI woke at 5am this morning with very fast thumping heartbeat - is this what its like to get palpitations? Not sure why this was as my last dose 25mcg T3 was before bed last night as per Nick Foots routine which I am trialling.I think its adrenal related - can anyone else give me their thoughts?I have not taken my first dose of T3 yet today, just my usual 3 x NAX with breakfast. My next dose of NAX is 2 with my lunch.Prior to taking T3 at all, I was on NAX for two years. Also was taking Nutri Thyroid until I started T3.This is my first experience of this sort and I don't know what to make of it. Any advice would be welcome.ThanksSue x
Guest guest
It could be this. If you are taking 25mg or more of HC, you get a blood sugar low and cortisol low during the night. It can wake you up and make you feel bad. It happened to me a lot when I was doing T3 therapy. You need to have something fatty and protein rich just before you go to bed. MacG. Guest guest
Many people are unable to tolerate taking any form of T3 at night because it peaks in the blood a couple or so hours after taking it. It could be adrenal related and I would recommend getting the 24 hour salivary adrenal profile done to see what is going on, but stop taking NAE for at least 2 weeks before you do this test.
