Guest guest
Helen, check out the attached documents to see whether he could be suffering with any of these. If he is, he needs to get treatment for these before the thyroid hormone can be fully utilised at the cellular level. He should ask his GP to test for specific mineral and vitamin deficiencies too and if low, get them supplemented. Luv - Sheila My son has recently had his test results back from the doctors. He is currently taking Levothyroxine at 175mg. His serum free T4 level was 16.5 pmol/l which fits into the range provided of 12.0 - 22.0. His serum TSH level was below the normality range at 0.22 miu/l, the reference range provided was 0.35 - 5.5. He is still complaining he is tired. Would you be able to help me with these results please? What does a low TSH level mean? His only other medication is liquid Vitamin B12 injected. He has suffered with Chronic Fatigue for 6 years and it started with boils. Thank you very much, Helen 2 of 2 File(s) LOW MINERALS AND VITAMINS AND THE THYROID CONNECTION.doc Why thyroid hormone stops working (2).doc
