Guest guest
Hi everyone..... wonder if you could comment on my results...... I feel fine, I'm now supplimenting B12, Folate and Iron as I was short of all of 'em.... I'm on HC and NAX and have been for 18 months....... I gave up gluten before Christmas. I've just not lost any weight.... everything else is fine..... In fact, thinking about it, I haven't really lost any weight since 2000, when I lost 3 stone and all the thyroid problems began. Prior to this I was on T4 only for 10 years and was great. All the problems seem to have occured when I lost the weight. Now on 3 grains of NT since Christmas. Tests results today are: TSH 0.02. T4 - 13 (9-22) T3 - 4.8 (3.5 - 6.5) My last lot of results when I was on 50 T4 and 40 T3 were: TSH 0.01 T4 - 9 T3 - 7 so it would appear that the T3 has dropped and the T4 has risen. This has made my tsh rise... presumably because I now have less T3.... Dr Kharizzan said in his book that the t3 didn't affect the tsh, but it obviously does. I'm loathe to increase my NT as I can't see the point of having more T4, I've never seemed to be able to convert it - (well, not since 2000) Does anyone think I should add some T3 to the 3 grains of NT? Earlier tests when I was on 20 mcg of T3 always showed T3 around 4 and only when I doubled the T3 to 40 did the T3 get up to 7. 3 grains of NT is giving me about 27 mcg of T3. x

Guest guest
Hi Yes, I think it wouldn't hurt to try adding a little bit of T3 to the NT. And if you don't feel right on it, you can soon drop it again. x > > > Now on 3 grains of NT since Christmas. Tests results today are: > > TSH 0.02.
