I was just thinking about the recent trials on synthetic T4 and

T3 combination versus T4-only therapy that showed T4/T3 combination worked no

better than T4. Are you aware that synthetic thyroxine was brought in as the

'gold standard' treatment for those with symptoms of hypothyroidism - without

any clinical trials ever having been carried out? Yet the BTA continue to tell

everybody that T4 works for everybody. We now have 914 counterexamples to

T4-only therapy, 14 more than the 900 participants in those flawed trials.
