Guest guest
I would stay away from anything with Tylenol in it because that is processed in the liver and my Gleevec info states to not take Tylenol. I have used Sudifed since being on Gleevec without a problem.
Guest guest
We like Quantum Health Products in drops for the kids. The drops mixed in water do not taste terrible. Go slow, increase 1 drop at a time and they acclimate pretty quickly to the taste. > > Since my DS will not swallow capsules, I am limited in products for cold and sniffles, cough and fevers. My son is already on Enhansa, which is probably the cause for on/off colds this month, but he needs something to feel better and sleep better. I do give motrin, which helps tremendously. Benadryl helps dry up the post nasal drip and helps with sleep, but I try to avoid it in the daytime. We tried Mucinex sprinkles which helped a lot, but has so much junk in it besides the drug. > > We already do zinc, GSE, and lots of probiotics, (can't do C due to oxalates) but I'm looking for something to help him feel better, not just to stimulate his immune system to fight or to kill bugs. If it were me, I'd take sudafed, motrin, and maybe some cough syrup to sleep. I ordered some Sinupret, but don't know if that will help or not. > > What can I use that will help him feel better while fighting these germs? He is 5, 33 pounds, pretty good about taking liquid or chewable stuff as long as it tastes good. Thanks! > > >
