To all participants who took part in the hypothyroidism and happiness questionnaire. Firstly many thanks for taking a few minutes out of your lives to help me, with gathering data. Your participation, ultimately makes a huge impact on my degree, and therefore my and my daughter's life. But also a big thanks for answering questions which may seem irrelevent, and even frustating. I know it is annoying when it seems that someone may not grasp the full extent of what you are suffering with, how it affects your life, and your family's. But as you know from the previous email I sent, I'm subjected to University and Ethic Board's rules which stop me from actually asking certian questions, if these questions have no statistical reliability.

Hopefully, all being well, I should have the results of the questionnaire in the next month or two, which I will email to Sheila. What these results will cover is-

· the overall rating of happiness of people suffering with Hypothyroidism,

· the reacurrance of symptoms,

· the relationship of severity of illness and how this impacts on happiness, and whether any coping strategies have helped to lessen the affects of the illness, therby promoting happiness.

However, I will not be able to give individual results.

Thankyou again, and I wish you all the best with your illness, and all the best for your family and loved ones. And keep hanging in there and going to your Doctors, then hopefully one day the medical board will wake up and realise that people who suffer with this illness do continue to suffer and should be given more support.
