Hi Jackie:

The only thing I didn't see listed is iron...Are you taking any iron? It is my

experience that iron and iodine grow hair......I like the bisglycinate form the

best...

I am also troubled by hair loss, and nothing seems to improve it.

I have been reading lately about the evils of acidity, the optimum state for the

body being alkaline. Much of ill- health is caused by our systems being too

acidic, and to alkalize you can add half a teaspoon of baking soda to a large

glass of water, and drink several times a day.

I am certainly going to try this option

Hi Jackie,

I suffered terribly with this and I found I was low in iron and also low vitamin A can cause hair loss.

Apparently your hair will fall out when the body is deficient in something and virtually says ' sorry hair but I am needed somewhere else' you'll have to wait for me to come back to keep you going. The trick is finding out which item it is and that took me ages.

Try getting your iron stores up that might help.

Hi All

Thanks for your advice.

I am already taking iron tablets (ferrous fumarate) because I know my ferritin

levels are very low. Maybe this is the main problem. I have now ordered some

bisglycinate iron tablets and some vitamin a tablets and also plan to try the

bicarb. Hopefully one of these will work.
