Guest guest
You might be better on T3 only Fliss and perhaps you should try the experiment of cutting down your dose by half a grain (30mgs) to see if that helps. Do you have any adrenal support in place. Are you taking the Erfa in split doses and if so, how late in the day are you taking it? Luv - Sheila Thanks for all your replies... my GP is now sending me for a throat scan...I was diagnosed with hashimotos over a year ago and have been on ERFA since last summer.I had this feeling last April when I first got ill but not had it since then. Have noticed my temp is higher recently: between 36.7 and 36.8 but took that as a good sign? I am also having constant hot sweats particularly at night and not sleeping well because of being woken up covered in sweat constantly...I am peri menopausal...Is all this linked to a hashi attack? Should I try lowering my dose of ERFA? On 180mg now.l Will post the results of throat scan... Fliss

Guest guest
If you are taking too high a dose Fliss, I very much down that dropping your dose by only 15mgs will make very much difference. I would drop it by 30mgs. It is easy to add in another 15mcgs if that is too much, and then slowly add in another 15 to see if having a break from the full dose works. Are you levels of minerals/vitamins we recommend you get tested OK? What about candida, mercury poisoning caused through amalgam fillings? What about your adrenals - are they being supported? Luv - Sheila Hi Sheila, I am taking 120mg at 7am and 60mg at 12...is that ok? will maybe try to go down 15mg and see? Fliss --- __
Guest guest
Hi Fliss: Night sweats are often a deficiency in estrogen or progesterone. With me, if I stop my estrogen bio-identicals, I'll get night sweats... With other people, it's progesterone... It's a balance thing, generally different for each person. If you know you're estrogen dominant, try some progesterone, and visa versa. I do estrogen drops every night and progesterone drops 21 days out of the month. Cheers, JOT I am also having constant hot sweats particularly at night and not sleeping well because of being woken up covered in sweat constantly...I am peri menopausal...
