Guest guest
Herllo I just got my latest labs back. As usual, my liver enzymes are up, as is my CRP. However my iron is still not where it needs to be. What can be causing this inflammation and elevated liver enzymes? I follow a strict gluten free diet and don't eat junk at all. Maybe it's because my thyroid is still not optimal? Could it also be that I am (still!) 20 lbs overweight according to BMI? I don't feel euthyroid, so want to try T3 only. However to do that I need to get my iron up. I have just been told by someone though that supping iron is a bad idea when one's CRP is up. Why is this? If I don't supp iron, I won't be able to tolerate T3 and will most likely go insane like I did last time I tried T3. But how much more of my life am I gonna have to waste if I can't supp iron and hence get on T3? Seriously..... Anyone got any thoughts?
