Thyroid Cancer and taking supplements with Iodine

Hi everyone

I have ordered a Thyro Complex Support formula with nutrients and herbs which

was suggested by a doctor (From Nutri).

I had thyroid cancer about 3 years ago. In the ingredients it contains Iodine

(Kelp)I am not sure about whether I should be taking Iodine because of the

cancer?? I have read somewhere that iodine helps prevent cancers ?? Bit confused

here can anyone shed some light.
