Guest guest
Hi Di Sorry you're having a tough time at the moment. Have you tried tea tree oil for your dry skin/scalp condition? It's a well known, antiseptic, antibiotic and antifungal treatment and an alternative to products loaded with chemicals. There are plenty of creams and hair products containing tea tree oil, or maybe you could try using a couple of drops of essential oil into the water when rinsing your hair. Do a patch test first though in case you're allergic. This may help with the symptoms, but I would guess that the underlying issue lies with your underactive thyroid as your immune system will be compromised and therefore more prone to skin flare-ups. With me it's mouth ulcers - sometimes I can have up to five at a time! I'm also allergic to the sun... thank goodness for factor 50 and fake tan lol. Is it muscle pain that you have? I do, and I know that exercise only makes the muscles more painful. Typical clueless response from the so-called health professional though!! Take care...
