Guest guest
Excellent Jacquie - thanks so much for posting these links. These should help our members to a better understanding of just what is going wrong and why doctors are unable to give us a proper diagnosis by looking at blood test results ALONE - blood tests that ONLY tell what amount of thyroid hormone is in the blood, and NOT the amount that is being used in the cells - where it matters. Hopefully, if the reporter does not change what I have said, these organisations WILL BE SHAMED! Luv - Sheila Dr Holze says it as it is - how... how... how... can endocrinologists be so dense?! Guest guest
While in the exam room at my last endo there was a poster (by the makers of synthroid) that walked through symptoms of hypo and hyper then ended with " have your TSH tested regularly and take Synthroid blah blah blah " . I almost wrote in there " and have T4/T3 and antibodies checked " and listed out all the vitamins as well! As well as other choice pieces of graffiti. It is a good thing to know here in the US, so when your doc says " but AACE recommends, blah blah blah " you can point out who they're funded by and that the " association " is biased.
