Unfortunately, a certain thyroid association not too far from my

front door are determined that no doctor will dare to either diagnosis or treat

outside of their recommended guidelines - actually, they don't have a

guideline, they only have statements they make which are made up of their opinions

only, because the statements they make ave not been backed up with scientific evidence.

If doctors DARE to give a diagnosis when a patient's serum thyroid function

tests are returned within the so called 'normal' reference range, or if doctors

DARE to treat with any other thyroid hormone replacement other than the

synthetic levothyroxine-only recommended therapy, a witch-hunt is then

organised to find as much evidence against these brave doctors as possible.

Even false accusations have been, as was found to be the case in Dr Skinner's

last Hearing when he appeared before the GMC.

The GMC have obviously now assessed all the 'evidence' and

reports and will be presenting this at Dr Skinner's next Hearing - but it

really does appear that this particular association will do whatever is

necessary to stop these good doctors from making their NHS 'failures' well

again - seems they can't make them well, and they won't allow any other doctor

to do so either.

There will soon be no more 'good and brave' doctors left as the

majority of them are now too afraid, some openly telling their patients that

they dare not give a diagnosis if their patients TFT's are 'normal' or dare to

treat using any other thyroid hormone replacement other than T4 (the mainly inactive

thyroid hormone), because they have no wish to lose their livelihood and

career. So, it makes sense that more and more members will be joining TPA, and

these wicked people who have their pockets lined by Big Pharma, are not going

to be happy about that.

Dr Peatfield got out when he saw the danger signs and has since

set up his own private metabolic clinics so he can continue to give good health

back to the continuing stream of NHS failures without having the GMC breathing

down his neck and watching his every move. These appalling people will not rest

until they have wiped all these good doctors completely away.

Hi Sheila, what exactly is Dr Skinner being called upon a GMC hearing for ?

Makes me sad that dr P and Dr S are the thyroid drs who are trying to help the

most out all endos but yet the gmc dont agree with their ways
