Hi , I've highlighted in red the symptoms I have. I've got adrenal and thyroid issues (poor T3 and T4 absorption/conversion). I've been on HC for 6 weeks now and am hoping to start thyroid meds soon. The HC has made me feel much better in myself - some of the symptoms have cleared up with rest and HC but I'm still tired and have a lot of the symptoms which I'm desperately hoping thyroid meds will help.Hope this helps. Best wishes, Alison>> I Have adrenal Fatigue and Elevated TPO antibodies Although there are loads of Lists of symptoms associated I am looking for other patients to compare the symptoms below so I can see how many of you can relate to me as I feel like I'm going mad....recently started on HC and T3....> > > Weight Gain.> Lower back pain. - particualrly bad when under stress> Exhaustion, tiredness, Fatigue.> Cracking sounds when moving neck.> Scratch marks and spots in front of eyes.> Severe imbalance and swaying.> Vertigo sensation and loss of balance in different lights and bright areas.> Difficulty walking eg. I've had to go up to a rather high dose - probably more than is ideal but then my cortisol levels were extremely low. I found the adrenal group great on recommending a dosing schedule - you need to show them saliva test results. I'm on 35mg daily split as follows:8am - 1011am - 102pm - 7.55pm - 58pm - 2.5Hope your symptoms start improving. all best Alison>> Thanks Alison What Dose of HC are you on???? Hi

So sorry to hear of all your awful symptoms. How are things going with you now?

I have quite alot of the symptoms you list, although I have gained some weight

it is not a huge amount, I have no mouth problems, but occasionally have probs

with throat and swallowing and choking on nothing..! My main symptoms are muscle

weakness and tingly foot and leg, feeling so very ill with a list of what seems

like every thing you could possibly think of. Also I have had skin rashes on

arms and face. I have posted a long list a couple of weeks ago. I am not

diagnosed, but after years and years of poor health I cannot put up with things

any longer and have decided to try and do whatever it takes to get some life

back. My doctor is very nice but quite dismissive of how I actually feel, I

have also seen neurologist and endo.. All can find nothing wrong. Very

frustrtrating. I also feel so guilty for my lovely husband and our 3 daughters,

all married with children of their own.. Incidentally the 2 eldest developed

hypothyroid after having babies.. My mum also had severe rheumatoid and we

believe she also had undiagnosed hypo.. Sorry for the ramble..

Please let me know your story and how you are doing now.

Best wishes. Marilyn .

>My main symptoms are muscle weakness and tingly foot and leg,

marilyn have you had your vit b12 checked? tingling is a classic low b12

symptom (plus extreme tiredness and extreme mental fog). muscle weakness is a

classic hypo symptom too.

You can check all of the symptoms you suffer against those in

our web site www.tpa-uk.org.uk under

'Hypothyroidism' and then in the drop down Menu 'Symptoms and Signs' - and yes,

there are a lot!

I agree with Trish, ask your GP to check your levels of

ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc to see if

any of these are low in the reference range. If they are low, you need to

supplement with whatever is low to get these levels where they should be in the

range before any thyroid hormone can work properly.
