Guest guest
Homeopathic Medications I would appreciate some advice about treatment. I went to see a Naturopath today. I was interested in looking at my adrenals and thyroid. She thought it was more important to clean out my liver, etc first. She gave me Homeopathic medications, and said we could try some adrenal granulate later, but wouldn't it be better to check hormones first? The medications she gave me are: Unda 3, 13, and 47. I don't know what these ingredients are supposed to do, but Unda 3 has Aluminum Metallicum 12X. Is this to be concerned about? I have some reservations about Homeopathics and whether they will work, and would like to hear about experiences or knowledge about Homeopathic medicine. If I have hormonal issues will this help resolve them? My main problem now is fatigue. Thanks
Guest guest
HI JOE I went to H & B yesterday where they also sell HOMEOPATHIC REMEDIES, and enquired as to what else I could try for constipation, which in turn I would think would help ones liver, and I have also been concerned about ongoing cramp in the night. They suggested MAG PHOS 8 WHICH IS A BIOCHEMIC REMEDY FOR CRAMP,NEURALGIA,FLATULENCE AND SPASMODIC NERVE PAINS.I took some yesterday and did not have any cramp, and bowels were OK today. It does have Lactose, so not good for those who are lactose intolerant. I have now established that Lactose is not causing me problems as I have been able to drink cows milk. The cancer specialist that I used to have also said that homeopathic medicine would suit me better as I have had so many problems with drugs from GP'S. With some remedies for constipation you have to be able to drink plenty which I cannot do, but with this MAG PHOS 8 you do not have to drink a lot as it is not a fibre that requires fluid to make it swell, and some are not good to take all the time as it can make ones bowel lazy. Constipation in turn causes Piles (Haemorroids) which in turn makes constipation worse and painful. I also have an on and off problem with a rectocele which has been repaired once, so not good to get constipated. On top of all this the NHS bombard us with drugs that in turn cause constipation, and all they have to give us is Lactulose which is rubbish. I doubt if homeopathic remedies will actually treat Thyroid problems, but its possible to help other symptoms involved. Have you also checked out to see if this Naturopath is covered in case of problems and registered. Kathleen > > Homeopathic Medications > > I would appreciate some advice about treatment. Guest guest
Homeopathic remedies are brilliant for all sorts of complaints, including hypothyroidism. The key is to find a good prescriber as they are matched to the individual rather than a one size fits all method of conventional medicine. The tissue salt range you mention are very effective at improving function at a cellular level, particularly Silica. x
