Guest guest
Hi Kathleen: This is the book I have been recommending to everyone for the past 4 months. It's an excellent reference. Guest guest
very interesting Kathleen, thanks for posting my father is on diabetes drugs and statins, yet they have never mentiond coQ10 to him, nor monitored his B12 levels (metformin can affect b12, apparently). My father is a manual worker in his 60s, and reports getting tired, cramps, paints etc, but he's not the sort of person to take vitamins or anything, or question the doctor. and of course the doctors don't say to him " mr taylor, we really must keep an eye on your b12 and your coq10 " . I am not sure if it's because they don't know, or don't care. lack of coq10 can cause heart problems i think? (i've been put on it for tachycardia) chris > > HI ALL > This article has appeared in THE MAIL explaining how different medicines in turn cause further problems by draining nutrients including some affecting ones Thyroid. > No wonder the drug companies are wealthy > > Kathleen > >
Guest guest
HI CHRIS I think the drug companies are on a good thing, and looking back to the drugs I have had in turn having to have more for the side effects of one drug. This is bad for those that have to pay for prescriptions, as it can cost a fortune with drug companies reeling in the benefits. The NHS do not even provide patients like us or even inform us as to what is needed alongside these drugs. Most of the ingrediants of pills are a concoction of food, herbs etc from the earth, and mixed up like a witch Doctor would have done, but drug companies are getting crafty with theirs causing us more problems. In theory illness cannot be cured, but can be helped with vitamins, herbs etc, but our Doctors do not appear to want to help us on these lines, so we end up getting worse. The drug companies want us to get worse too so they can sell more drugs. These reps for drug companies visit surgeries, like a rep would visit a shop to flog goods along with freebies, and I have to wonder what insentives are given to our Doctors to use their drugs. There is one thing they won't let us have is Armour Thyroid for those that can take it, and T3 is a struggle to get. It appears all we get is a cheap £1 per packet of T4 that does not offer help for many of us. This £1 a packet T4 ends up costing the NHS a lot more in the long term, but it appears to be what they want. This article spells out that drug companies do not want us to get better.
