Hi Everyone,

I just wondered if anyone had any experience of taking Cynomel and then changing

over to Sodium Liothyronine.

I get a small amount of Sodium Liothyronine prescribed by my GP which I have

just changed to as I have run out of Cynomel. I was taking 82.25 mcg of Cynomel

and am now taking 90 mcg of Liothyronine. I think some of my symptoms are

returning, my daily temperature had dropped and is not getting above 36.7 and I

am feeling more tired and achy.

It is difficult to know if it is adrenal or just a case of not taking enough.

Would love to hear from anyone who may have experienced something similar.

Hi Lizzie

I changed from Cynomel (Mexican) to Liothyronine for about 2 months mainly due

to expense and I didnt do very well on it I went backwards and saw my symptoms

returning eg fatigue back aches joint stiffness.... I dont know why, so I

decided to change back to Cynomel and felt better again.
