Guest guest
My husband had high BP and brought it down naturally by using high dose Niacin (vitamin B3) 350mgs daily and high dose Co-EnzymeQ10 300mgs daily if that is any help to you. Read the following: http://www.drugs.com/propranolol.html and http://www.mentalhealth.com/drug/p30-i02.html Luv - Sheila I'd like to be able to get through this without seeing my GP as after the phone call things between us are a bit frosty!! Then again, I am a bit worried about my blood pressure as it's causing symptoms i.e. bad headache and pounding in my ears. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
hi Gillmukta vati is an ayurvedic medicine which really is effective for lowering BP - lots of suppliers including on ebay. I have had no side effects with this medicine and I know a few people - dad, uncle and mum who havent had side effects either.propanalol used to be used for raised BP but its not very effective for high bp - rather it lowers your heart rate and symptoms of anxiety. so its unlikely that stopping taking the propanalol has raised your BP - according to my GP!that level of raised BP is not that high and (again according to the GP!) should not cause the symptoms you describe - more likely that's coming off the propanalol.all that said raised BP does cause health risks and does want sorting so do get it sorted!best wishes,GillSo, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any natural ways to reduce blood pressure? Also, has anyone else had experience of withdrawing from propranolol? Then again, I am a bit worried about my blood pressure as it's causing symptoms i.e. bad headache and pounding in my ears. Guest guest
Thank you Gill and Sheila for your suggestions. I will definitely look into those. Gill... a question about the mukta vati - is it something I could take in the short term to lower my blood pressure and then stop taking it, or is it something taken by people with chronic high blood pressure as an alternative to conventional medication?
