Hello all, I have Hashimotos and am self treating with NDT for the second time

this year. Am also treating adrenal fatigue with all the recommended

supplements. I am up to 1 1/2 grains of NDT and am beginning to feel tired etc.

again. I saw doctor Peatfield last week with my daughter and not for myself. I

told him that my blood pressure always dropped when I stood up so he said I

could take hydrocortisone which I started 5 days ago. All my blood tests are

good having supplemented since the beginning of year. The only important test

which I haven't managed to do is copper but my diet is good. After taking HC for

3 days I started getting continual chest pain so I have stopped yesterday. I

don't care to get chest pains as I have a congenital heart condition

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. I am used to chest pains for my heart condition

though I am beginning to wonder if the chest pains weren'.t actually caused by

undiagnosed hypothyroidism as I haven't had pains since beginning thyroid

treatment. I feel they are coming on at this precise moment even though the HC

should be well out of my system by now. I would like to know if perhaps it is

more likely that I am not utilising my NDT and am getting T4 toxicosis or if

this is not possible on NDT but only on Thyroxine. Have decided to stop NAX so

that I can do an adrenal test in a couple of weeks. My spit test for candida

looks ok to me.My last thyroid blood tests a month ago were the following...TSH

0.02 (0.3 - 4.2), FT4 12.9 (12-22) and FT3 4.9(3.1 - 6.8).the ferritin, B12,

folate,Vit D are great and I take all the minerals advised. Any advice would be

appreciated. I am on my 4th week of 1 1/2 grains NDT as I felt not so good on

2grains. Any advice would be great appreciated...
