Hmmmm...fuming at the moment...My mother saw her GP this morning..I printed out a letter for her to hand to her doctor listing all her signs & symptoms,tests that needed performing & the reasons why they where necessary.I also listed the results from her latest blood tests that warranted further investigation & again the reasons why.You probably guessed his response..everything within range,everything normal..no need to retest anything,certainly no need to test D,magnesium,zinc or copper...even with a ferritin level of 27 he wouldn't perform a full iron panel or retest ferritinAll he's offered at the moment is an ECG & chest X-Ray.I did stress to my mother the importance of having all tests in the letter performed & if he wouldn't authorize them to ask for written reasons why..Unfortunately she was swayed by her doctor & came out with nothing.I advised her to change GP,the one she's with is an incompetent penny pinching fool..I can already see his diagnosis being made..simply your age m'dear.Sorry..needed to vent~Andy~
