Guest guest
Hi and All, Well, my daughter had her SST test yesterday - we arrived on time @ 8.30am. I mentioned about the test needing to start by 9.00am. They had another little girl there who was seen first. They had great trouble with this little girl and eventually my daughter was sent into the treatment room - they then had trouble finding a vein that was suitable, so the first blood test was taken @ 9.30am, we were then told that she had to lie down for 20 minutes before having the Tetracosactide. So we went to lie down. The other little girl then had to be seen - again they had huge trouble and it was not until 10.50/5 that they took more blood from my daughter and gave her the Tetracosactide. When the 30 minutes was up I had to remind them to come & take the blood - the final blood sample was taken at 12.00noon. I really cannot believe what happened, they kept trying to reassure me that sll was Ok and that everything was fine with the test. What do you think? We should get the results sometime in the next couple of weeks. I am feeling very low about this and I just hope that all will be OK.
