Guest guest
I only wish when these authors write such papers that they would cite references to the medical science. Without these, doctors are quite likely to turn round and disregard what is written as anybody can write anything and try to make you believe it. This is as bad as the Royal College of Physicians and the British Thyroid Association writing their Statements on the Diagnosis and Management of Hypothyroidism and making other statements on thyroid disease which the refuse to back up by citing references. This makes what they say their 'opinion' only - and worse, the Department of Health and all doctors appear to be very happy to go along with these so called 'experts' OPINIONS only - completely disregarding their patients signs and symptoms - and completely disregarding the medical science that shows the majority of their statements are downright wrong. Luv - Sheila. Don't know if this should be on this forum or the chats - but some allergies stop meds working so I thought this link might be helpful to some. Guest guest
Yes, I realise that and those are the one's I would take heed of, but many of the others do not show references to back up what they are writing.
