nitemare, i'm doing about 60 - 80 a day on the M1 - i agree it's extremely

wearing when you're not 100% to start off with

can't you do any work from home?

Anyone near you who goes the same way so you can car share.Can you choose when you do the 25 hours, so that you might be able to reduce the days to three but work slightly longer hours.     Would you be earning sufficient to stay overnight at a cheap B & B. if you can work two or more consecutive days.

Not that I wanted to work from home but when I mentioned it it was not a goer.

My travel would be on the M62 but my wrist was playing up again to-night just on

the 58 mile journey, it does not bear thinking about 83 miles.

It would not be a job I have any experience of I am afraid, just would not know

where to start!

But no one goes my way at similar time.

I do not have the energy to work a long day and do the hours drive either end of

it. I only am on administrators salary so no B and B in my price bracket.

I have worked out it will be 200 pounds of petrol a month so won't leave me

much.

I think I will loose my job.

Hi Sheila

I was stuck in traffic coming home Friday afternoon, sun burning hot through

window in car, wrist bandaged and hurting me, an accident I think was the

problem. Made me decide I will have to tell them it is just too far to travel

for part time admin work. As it is the role that has been cut I think it would

be difficult to swap with anyone but I will find out.
