Guest guest
Hello (in Australia) - we really don't want to call you (in Australia) because we have another very active (in Australia) on the forum, and you can bet your bottom dollar we will get you mixed up at some point, so can you find another name to call yourself please - perhaps a nickname. I see what you mean about the ithyroid.com web site, I too went there and couldn't open anything there. Obviously they have a problem. However have a look here http://www.medicinenet.com/thyroid_nodules/article.htm http://www.thyroid.org/patients/brochures/Nodules_brochure.pdf http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/007265.htm Luv - Sheila I have hyperthyroidism caused by a 3cm autonomous nodule on one side of my thyroid. I have been taking PTU but have to keep increasing the dose to keep it under control. I am just about to have surgery to have the nodule and probably half my thyroid removed. I would very much appreciate some advice about which supplements I should take to support my thyroid before and after the surgery and to try to stop any of the remaining small nodules from getting any bigger or starting to produce hormones. I have looked at ithyroid.com but I can't get any of its pages to open and it mainly seems to be about Graves disease which I don't have. many thanks (in Australia)
Guest guest
Thank-you Sheila I have seen those sites before - they all seem to say the same thing and none talk about nutrition and supplements for hyperthyroidism.
