It says I am thyroid resistant and that is why I need (yes he said need) T4 and T3. Mind you from my original private test results and 24 hour urine test it showed I was not converting but as the outcome is the same, it is recognised that I do need T3, I wont worry too much. This should have been done 7 years ago of course, when I first became ill after being well with thyroxine only for 20 years, and which would have saved me hundreds of pounds. Another case of not doing the right tests or sufficient tests, but still pronouncing you OK. Endos are a bit like , put a patch to their good eye and say "I see no ships".
