Daughters Thyroid Profile Results - Help Please.

As I suffer from Hypo as did my mother I decided to get my daughter(30yrs)

checked as she is constantly tired. Here are her results from Lab21.

FT3 4.6 (3.0-6.2)

FT4 10.9 (12.0-22.0)

TSH 3.2 (0.4-4.0)

As her FT4 is below the range and her TSH is highish but not over the range is a

GP likely to prescribe Thyroxine? I think she does need to be on thyroid

replacement therapy given her symptoms (and her blood results) She lives in

Glasgow. Any advice would be gratefully received, has anyone else had similar

results and commenced on medication?
