Guest guest
Over the last couple of evenings there were TV programs on two airplane crashes that killed more than 700. One was Air France flight 447 that went down in the Atlantic. The other was two 747's colliding in a Canary Island airport. The investigations were quite thorough and seemingly checked every angle. And then I thought about endocrinology. If endocrinology were investigating these crashes, it would say that most flights are successful and manage to take off and arrive without incident. The consensus is that airline travel is safe and nothing needs to be done. Just who can manage to delve into the great mysteries of the air? Maybe there was just too much bad karma on those planes. However, the Air France flight might have been saved if the pilot did not have so much automation connected with the flight controls and had more experience with directly flying planes. Maybe then, he could have recovered from the stall at 35,000 feet some time before it hit the water. And maybe doctors should know more too. And the Dutch pilot that caused the Canary Island crash was warned of the other 747 on the runway, but ignored the warning. His crew were too fearful of contradicting his eminence again. Over 500 died as a result. The masters of endocrinology have been warned too. But they ignore the warnings, too with horrible results, too. Have a great day,
