Guest guest
I've been on NDT for around 12 months after seeing Dr P 12 months ago. Gradually increasing until feeling good. I do feel GREAT some days, but get these niggly 'thyroid headaches' completely randomly. I've keap a chart and doesn't show a relation to my cycle. I may get them for 3 days and 2 off. This week I had 4 days without and got up this morning with one lurking :-( I had managed to increase my NDT to 5 tablets, but that was in the winter and I was pretty much sympton free except the random headaches and I was mainly increasing to try to get rid of my dry skin. I think I was overdoing it a bit and, with the weather getting warmer, stable temps and blood tests showing a high FT3 and low TSH (both acceptable I know), etc I have dropped to 3 grains. Does anyone else have these random headaches? Can anyone suggest anything please? I'm requesting a referral to a specialist on Sheila's list - but it may be a wait? I have adrenal issues (highish cortisol salivia test) and I have developed a MASSIVE contorted jumpiness/ as a passenger in a car (Diane Holmes said she had this too). Maybe this has something to do with it and I'm wrongly looking at the NDT/Thyroid as the cause? Thanks, Dawn
