Your Folate is very slightly over the top - nothing serious, but if you were currently supplementing folate (omegas), I would give that a break now for a few weeks before starting up again. You want the numbers at the top, but not necessarily over the top. Best wishes,
Guest guest
folate and vit b12 are inextricably linked ...are you supplementing with folic acid or do you have a very high leafy green veg intake? do you have any symptoms of anaemia (eg tiredness), tingling/pins and needles, cognition difficulties? trish > > Just had a couple of results back , if someone could be kind enough to help. > > B12 301 <191-663> > > Serum Folate 19 <3.1 17.5> Hi > > many Thanks Debbie >

Guest guest
christina, i don't think omega fatty acids and folate are the same are they? Thanks for putting me right, Trish J - you are absolutely right .... I muddled that up, sorry. Folic acid and omegas are often mentioned in the same breath and I took it to mean the same thing. Have just looked it up .... Folate is Vitamin B9. http://www.healthyplace.com/depression/alternative-treatments/dietary-supplements-and-nutrition-for-depression/menu-id-68/ love, xx
