Guest guest
RE: Dr testing adrenal fatigue in Galway (Ireland) I have removed the doctors name as we must not give doctors full names on the forum (see message on Home Page of this Forum). You should give initials only. However, do let us know if Dr C in Ireland will treat with HC should her patients Genova Test results show they have low adrenal reserve. You can get tested to check your cortisol and DHEA levels by the 24 hour salivary adrenal profile by Genova through TPA and get a discount by being a TPA member. Go to the Files section which is accessible from the Menu on the Home Page of this forum web site. Scroll down through the list of Folders until you get to 'Discounts on Tests and Supplements' and follow the instructions there, being sure to write 'Thyroid Patient Advocacy' as your Practitioner. You can also get discounts on supplements - 33% from Nutri Ltd. Luv - Sheila I'm not sure if this will be of use to anyone but just to let you know that Dr C in "Health & Herbs", Galway (Ireland) has recently started offering testing through Genova Diagnostics. Dr C is a GP and also a medical herbalist. I emailed to see if they test adrenal fatigue and how they would treat it (and if hydrocortisone would be a possible treatment) and got this reply: Thank you for your email. We do offer the adrenal saliva test from Genova Diagontics. To avail of the test and subsequent treatment you would need to make an appointment with Dr C as she will then consult with you on necessary steps to take to combat adrenal fatigue. The number to make an appointment is 091-5832560. RegardsAdministrator So I don't know whether or not she will treat with HC but she is open-minded so it may be worth finding out for anyone in the west of Ireland. She may also be worth speaking to about desiccated thyroid.
