Have you read the ingredients Debbie. I have used several of Boot's products until I discovered they use Aspartame etc. I wrote to them about using a poison in their 'health' supplements and got a bland answer in return.

Good morning all. I'm taking Boots chewable vitamin C 1000 mg x4 (contains bioflavanoids to support absorption), but I'm suffering from painful stomach burn / indegestion. Has anyone advice please.

Hi Debbie, I've had the very same problem I 1st tried Loyds High Strength

Chewable Vit C 500mg, then tried Boots bioflavonolds Immune Health vit C, while

this was a little better I still ended up with bad stomach burn / indegestion

and only taking 500mg a day! I tried taking them at different times, taking them

with food etc but after a few days the problem came back. I had to stop taking

them.

I too would be very interested in finding some way of tolerating vit C, sorry I

can't really be of help other than you have my sympathy :(

I sympathise _I have the same problem and had to give up taking vit C. I seem to be able to tolerate it for two days and then......shan't say what happen next but it seems I am intolerant of it for some reason -even a low dose like 500mg.

I take Unique-C 1000 by FoodScience. I take two a day and have no

trouble. Any other make, in doses higher than 50mg, goes straight through

me. Boots was the worst.

You can get Unique-C from Health online.
