Guest guest
Hi Berny: This problem affects a lot of women and can usually be easily treated. http://www.amazon.com/-Lees-Hormone-Balance-Simple/dp/B000X1H720/ref=sr_1_1?\ ie=UTF8 & qid=1307718760 & sr=8-1 Lee has written many books on the subject, if you do a google search for this websites or check the library for his books, you may get some insight into dosing. If you are estrogen dominant, you'd want to balance that with progesterone. I recently read an article which told us that women fare better with both progesterone and estradiol even if they are estrogen dominant. Of course, now that I need it, I don't know where I read it. Progesterone is fairly safe but it does help to cycle it..... 21 days on, 7 days off. As with anything, just don't go crazy with it. Cheers, JOT

Guest guest
I have just ordered this book. I also have huge problems with sleeping - could it be due to the lack of hormones?? thanks b --- > http://www.amazon.com/-Lees-Hormone-Balance-Simple/dp/B000X1H720/ref=sr_1_1?\ ie=UTF8 & qid=1307718760 & sr=8-1 > > I
Guest guest
Hi B: I think 's book will be very informative for you. This is a paragraph in another of my favorite books by T.S Wiley on bioidentical hormones: " Waking up every time you turn over or hear snoring or the cat is a low-progesterone state, but interval waking at, say, 2:00 am and 4:00 am or 1:00am and 3:30 am is an estrogen-deprived state. Knowing this will help you to adjust your replacement levels to sleep soundly all night. " Progesterone makes us fall asleep.....I take two drops of bioidentical estradiol every night and 3 drops of bioidentical progesterone 21 days of the month. Progesterone should be cycled like this because if you don't take a break every now and then, progesterone can cause depression. Guest guest
Jitter, where do you buy your bio identical progesterone e estradiol?? i think you live in the usa?? i believe that many women take chemical progestereone and estradiol. How do you know the bio identical stuff is better, is it still not chemical too? also what about testerone? i need to start taking sex hormones for husband reasons but now i realise i need them for sleep. --- I by T.S Wiley on bioidentical hormones: > > " Waking up every time you turn over or hear snoring or the cat is a low-progesterone state, but interval waking at, say, 2:00 am and 4:00 am or 1:00am and 3:30 am is an estrogen-deprived state. Guest guest
Hi B: My bioidenticals are a prescription from my medical advisor. But I was wondering about this...is there no one over there who practices Anti-aging medicine? These Docs work with this everyday. There must be someone who is doing this. I actually asked my MA if she could treat those of you in the UK, etc. over the phone and through faxes, etc. She responded that she thought it may be unethical because it's another country, but she isn't internationally brilliant about these laws. Does anyone know if this is a conflict? A compounding pharmacy should be able to make bioidenticals but I was also wondering whether DR P could prescribe bioidenticals and receive from my supplier in the US? If I gave him the info, could my suppliers fill scripts from him to you? My MA faxes in my prescription and then I call them with my Visa number and they send them that day. The people who make these bioidenticals are in their 90's. As soon as you can buy them over the counter, I will notify everyone, but so far this hasn't happened. In the meantime the estrogen suppositories and serenity cream will work until you can find an anti-aging Doc.... By the way, this is the first chapter of the book by Lee: http://www.johnleemd.com/store/chap1hbms.html My bioidenticals are made from yams (sweet potatoes) Cheers, JOT > Jitter, > where do you buy your bio identical progesterone e estradiol?? i think you live in the usa?? > i believe that many women take chemical progestereone and estradiol.
