Guest guest
Dear Member, Please will you participate by responding to the questions in this survey. About 10 more participants are required in order that Elspeth can complete her research. This will only take a little of your time and will help everybody who is suffering the symptoms of hypothyroidism. http://www.smart-survey.co.uk/v.asp?i=17700ddqtl "The purpose of the study is to investigate people's experience of hypothyroidism. We will look at factors that could influence the well-being and happiness of people with hypothyroidism. For this we will be looking at how hypothyroidism affects you physically and emotionally, and how this impacts on your happiness". The aim is to establish if people diagnosed with hypothyroidism still suffer with limited quality of life and happiness levels, even though they are being treated, and if they do- try to discuss the possibility that this illness might be more debilitating then was previously recognised , leading to a possible reclassification of illness to a disability? Please note, these are theories Elspeth wishes to try to put forward in her research for her degree- the results might not suggest this, furthermore, more tests would have to be done to acknowledge fully the disability of those suffering symptoms of hypothyroidism Elspeth says that research, such as the one she proposes for her dissertation can help future studies and shed light on a complicated illness. Please do take part. Luv - Sheila
