Hi

I have saw Dr P on Saturday and he has said that I have weak T4 to T3 conversion

and T3 receptor uptake has run down. He has prescribed NAX and NTand has has

told me to stop taking levothyroxine for 10 days and to start NAX on day seven.

Also to supplement with vit C and CQ10.

I also have the result from my saliva test, will try to scan to the files, it

shows my cortisol and DHEA high at some point in the day. I did them on a day

when I was feeling to ill to do anything so there was very little external

stress. Does this mean that it is not my adrenals and that I don't need the

NAX. Have searched the forum but can't find any posts about both being high.

I am on day three without thyroxine and still feel really grotty, I am shaky and

jump and shiver when anyone comes near me, and of course I am exhausted.

I can't see anyway to attach my scans so help with that would be good.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Maire
