Guest guest
Hi I have been lurking for a short while and have learnt a huge amount. Thank you all. I have hashis but have been refused treatment until I am " hypo " on the numbers. My TSH has been rising over the last 2 years from 1.3 to most recently 2.3 ( 2.6 in January), and my ft3 is 4.8 ( 3.9 in January) and my ft4 is 12 ( 11 in January). I have finally found a progressive doctor in Australia but still have a couple of weeks before I can see her. I have been reading extensively to see what I can do whilst I wait in terms of supplements etc. I am taking lots of C, multi B, krill oil, selenium, an adrenal support tablet with lots of ginsengs - several kinds, E, D3, and have just started a herbal iron mix. Just wondering whether there is anything I am missing as I don't want to have to delay any treatment the new doc might want to start because of any adrenal issues. I also have severe apnea ( treated partly successfully with CPAP), and gluten intolerance ( for which I am now essentially eating gluten free with good results as far as the gastric upsets are concerned). Can someone tell me about the andrenal support tablets that are frequently discussed on here that have adrenal and other tissue added? Thankyou for your help. Cheers PS I have a strong family history of auto-immune issues....mother type 1 diabetic, father parkinsons, both probably celiacs, and I have two alleles on a celiac genes test and have been told I have a 1 in 10 chance of developing full blown celiac disease.
