Keep ringing Louise, there must be somebody around, are you sure

you used the correct number 0121 4492429.

I've checked with my GP's surgery and she sent

the referral letter on the 5th of May. I left a message on Dr. Skinner's

machine a few days after this but I still haven't heard anything. I noticed a

few people have been to see him recently and I wondered how long was before you

heard anything about your appointments.

Unfortunately Dr S surgery only has one telephone which also is the fax. Keep

trying and leave messages until the receptionist gets back to you. I know its a

pain but it will be worth it when you have your consultation. Remember to take

your latest blood test with you.

Thanks Sheila, this is a different number to the one I had. I had: 01214 492429;

I left a message at this no. but haven't heard anything.

I've tried the new no. but after it had rung for a long time I got a weird noise

and I wasn't able to leave a message; I wondered if that meant the machine was

full? But I'll keep trying.

recorded message has been changed; it says that Dr. Skinner's surgery is closed

until the 26th of May and if you need an appointment you should write or leave a

Thanks for that Louise - this will explain why I too have been

unable to raise Dr Skinner. And thank you for the correct telephone number

which I have made a note of. I have several telephone numbers for him and was

giving out the wrong one. So, apologies.
