Guest guest Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 I know folks who do not take their thyroid hormone replacements for a few days before the test because they do not want their physician to cut back on the meds because the TSH is over suppressed. This is reasonable, when you need and are taking T3 because, this requirement indicates a post thyroid deficiency that reduces the connection between TSH and the reality of body functionality.
