Guest guest
Hi All, Please help me interpret my 24 Hour Thyroid Urine Test. The results are: 1) FT3: 910 pmol/24h (Reference Range 592-1850 pmol/24h) 2) FT4: 275 pmol/24h " LOW " (Reference Range 347 -1994 pmol/24h) 3) T3:T4 Ratio 3.3 " HIGH " (Reference Range 0.50-2.00) The FT3 result is within the green range of the little traffic light (albeit toward the lower edge). But the FT4 is completely outside is completely outside its reference range (below the lower edge). What I don't understand: T3 is derived from T4. So how is it possible to have a decent T3 reading but a T4 which is off the chart? Thanks, Kit.
