Guest guest
Finally I have some ammunition. Been checking my temp with my jazzy new thermometer. I've done it when I've felt particularly tired as well to see if there's any correlation. 6/4 - 3pm - 36c 7/4 - 1am - 35.7c 6am - 36.3c 9:15am - 35.6c 11am - 35.9c 1:43pm - 36.3c Phoned my grandpa - I was sure there wasn't anything in the immediate family and he said no too - but then he phoned me back and said - wait a minute...your great aunt (his sister) had a scar on her neck and he thinks was due to a thyroid removal. So - Dr NHS Doc - put that in your pipe and smoke it. I want my damned t3 and anti-bodies done! Okay - now I am utterly convinced this is what it is and I will fight long, hard and dirty till I get the treatment I need. Has anyone been to a Dr Peatfield clinic? Just incase I don't get anywhere with the new practice. thanks all again for the support

Guest guest
Hi there, I noticed you are in Edinburgh.I stay just outside Edinburgh and have been seeing a new Private Doctor in Manor Place.Too early to say whether there is any inprovement as we're just starting treatment but I'm sure he would arrange T3/antibodies tests for you. Please email privately if you'd like to know more. Regards Peary >> Beautiful and sunny Edinburgh, Scotland :-)> > > >>
Guest guest
Edited to delete doctors full name. Moderator Thanks Peary If I was going to go private I would go and see T... at the Murrayfield - I just can't afford it. My disposable income once I get paid would just about cover the initial consultation. I'd have no money for food. The fact I have been let down by the service that is supposed to support low incomes is frustrating - but they don't realise I am a rottweiler and will not let this go until I've found someone that will help me :-) The lady in Boots said she used a NHS GP in Murrayfield - so will try firstly my surgery down the road, then try and get a rec to a chap in Falkirk recommended by another thyroid board, then maybe try this murrayfield practice. By then - I may have saved up enough to go visit T......! But thanks for your support! Kind regards > > > > Beautiful and sunny Edinburgh, Scotland :-) > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Then the Aberdeen clinic or Morpeth Clinic is probably the nearest one to you. There is one at my cottage 7th to 10th June in North Yorkshire, if you could make it down to that one. Check these out in our web site www.tpa-uk.org.uk in the right hand column under 'Dr Peatfield's clinic update' Luv - Sheila Beautiful and sunny Edinburgh, Scotland :-) > > Where about in the UK do you live? > > Luv - Sheila > > >
