Guest guest
I'm having a bad time of it. I'd switched to T3 only several months ago as I was getting toxic on 2 1/2 grains Erfa even though I felt a bit better. It left me with high irregular pulse and generally feeling strange. The problem I've got is that the same thing is happening on the T3 - I've 3 times now got up to about 30mcg and get the same symptoms. I don't think my adrenals can handle T3 at the moment as I can't take HC and so am on quite a large dose of Isocort. Is NDT generally easier on the adrenals? I'm thinking of going back to it even if I have to be on a lower dose for the mean time. I've been off T3 for about 3 weeks now at Dr Ps advice but can't cope with not being on anything at all. It's so hard to know what to do for the best in this situation. I'm covering all other bases and have been working on my ferritin for about 4 months now. Will get it tested again soon. Any thoughts?
