RE: Too much Armour or NAX?

Hi Ali - with being on 6 Nutri Adrenal Extra, it might be that

these are not boosting your adrenals sufficiently so the thyroid hormone is

unable to be utilised at cellular level. You may need to try Isocort or go on a

short course of Hydrocortisone. Also, ask y our GP to test your blood levels of

ferritin, B12, D3, magnesium, folate, copper and zinc. Do not allow him to tell

you that these are normal because they appear 'somewhere' within the reference

range, you need to know exactly what your results are so get a copy of them,

together with the reference range for each test done and post them on the

forum.

Meanwhile, drop your Armour back by half a grain for a couple of

days and see if that helps and then add just a quarter of a grain back and see

if you start to feel the same as you are feeling now. Also, check out the

attached.

Hi all

I was feeling much better following my appt with Dr P in November and had

followed the protocol, leaving me on 6 NAX daily (very poor adrenal results)

and 1½ grains Armour (plus all the other many supplements recommended). I have

recently been having periods of increased pulse (up to 88 bpm whilst resting at

various times of day), palpatations, feeling sick and panicky. Is this too much

Armour or too much Adrenal support? I was feeling so well a couple of weeks ago

and am really disappointed that I seem to have gone wrong somewhere! I saw my

endo last week and my TSH now down from 3.5 on T4 to 0.8 in less than 8 weeks.

Endo did not have much faith in adrenal lab results (he had previously sent me

for short and long synacthen test which showed my adrenals were 'capable' of

producing sufficient amounts. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you again.

Ali
