Guest guest
Hi Debbie , I get mine from Holland and Barret - have found them to be good. I try to stock up when there are offers on, which, luckily, is fairly often. Also, with High Street branches nationwide and a good website, they are easy to get. x > > Can anyone please recommend a good brand of CoQ10 or are they all the same > thanks Debbie >
Guest guest
Hi Debbie Ive tried cheapest and dearest, and found they all work for me. I prefer Jarrow brand from iherb, small caps and no needless additives etc and when I checked on a website that tested them all, consumerlabs.com Jarrow always came top in everything, so are reliable. I couldnt afford the fancy specially absorbed ones on Income support, but I can tell you q10 does work, if oowder take with meal as its fat soluble. If you take beta blockers dont take at same time. They interact. I also find if I have 60mg at once Im ok, but 90 or more in one go and I dont feel so good for a while. Whatever the brand, so be aware for that. It is top stuff, kept me off heart meds for years till I stopped taking it and ended in hospital so highly reccomend. Guest guest
I can be more specific now...I have used CoQ10 for sometime now...I get it on prescription....I have used several different ones and the very best ones (for me) are bio-QuinoneQ10 Gold by Pharma Nord. They are Gel Caps and I notice the improvement when I take these compared to others. The Cheist seemed to try to palm me off with podwer capsules and these were not being absorbed.... Can recommend the above and if your doc is willing get them on NHS prescription. sally xx Can anyone please recommend a good brand of CoQ10 or are they all the samethanks Debbie

Guest guest
Sorry I am only just getting back to you Carole...I am working my way down my mails. Dont worry I dont mind the capitals. Tehe. You got my attention alright! tehe. I'm pretty sure he just puts coQ10 (unbiquinone) gel caps.....and then I spoke with the chemist pharmacist and they know that is the brand that suits me best so long as the GP puts gel caps. What happened they gave me those initially and then changed to some cheap stuff which wasnt being absorbed....so asked GP and pharmacist and now I get what I need...however I suppose if GP wanted to be more specific and put the whole title of brand and manufacturer, as I described them previously, then there would be no misunderstanding.Sally xx SALLYsorry for caps wanted your attention!please can you tell me what your GP actually puts on the script?
